[...] Our Junior A Team play in Division 4 (AHL4) of the Dublin Leagues and Junior A Championship. The 2009 season has now drawn to a close, they played 20 games across 3 competitions winning 9, drawing 3 and losing 8. They reached the semi final of the Championship and there are still 2 remaining league games to be played in the new year. Training for the 2010 season will commence at the end of January. Fr. Mike is my greatest friend. He was passionate about hurling. To talk about him in the past tense is a great pain for me who has been friends with him since 1985 in the Philippines. He was especially proud and happy that, in his youth, he played the game a lot, till he joined the Discalced Carmelites. Could you feature anything more about him in relation to hurling? I miss my Friend and his spirited stories about the game. Thanks so much and God bless..
