Table Quiz – Friday 20th of April

There will be a table quiz in Faughs on Friday 20th April at 9pm to
raise funds for this year’s Feile (U14) hurling and camogie teams.
Please spread the word, twist arms, call in favours and try and get a
good crowd in. It will be a good night.

We’re also looking for sponsors/donations for raffle prizes. Doesn’t
have to be anything major – bottle of wine or box of chocolates would be
perfect although we wouldn’t say no to the 50″ plasma screens either.
Can put sponsors names on the quiz sheets if that helps.

Dublin is hosting the national Féile na nGael on 5/6/7 July for the
first time since 1983 and all Dublin clubs get automatic entry so it
will be the first time Faughs competes in the national Feile. We will
be hosting 2 visiting clubs – food and board and entertainment plus, we
hope to host one of the hurling divisions and there will be a Gala
nights entertainment on the Friday 6th with everbody welcome. It’s a
big event for the club and your support would be much appreciated. More
details nearer to the date. The Feile website is up and running on
